Degreed, the learning platform that makes skills-powered learning easy for hundreds of companies globally, has appointed Nicole Williams as Chief Operating Officer, Nate Kimmons as Chief Revenue Officer, and Sanjay Parmar as Chief Technology Officer. The appointments reinforce Degreed’s commitment to growth and operational excellence, two areas that have recently been recognized in the Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Technology Awards for Degreed’s Content Marketplace, and Aragon Research’s 2023 Innovation Award for Learning. The appointments come following strong market and sector expansion by the company, plus product enhancements that include new AI-driven capabilities to improve the learner and admin experience.
Key C-Suite additions
Nicole joined Degreed a year ago leading revenue operations as the SVP of Revenue Operations. Before that, Nicole was SVP of Revenue Strategy at Docebo. She also led global strategy and enablement at Cornerstone, serving as the go-to-market functional lead for its $1.3bn Saba acquisition. Well-versed in global growth, strategy, business operations, and revenue operations, Nicole’s focus as COO is driving market penetration and revenue growth with a customer-centric approach.
Nate has rejoined Degreed and its leadership team as CRO. Nate was COO of Degreed before leaving to be CEO of Learn In (acquired by Degreed in June 2022). He brings his expertise in SaaS and revenue leadership from his nearly decade-long tenure at Learn In and Degreed, as well as leading the enterprise strategy and operations for Lynda.com before LinkedIn’s $1.5bn acquisition of the company in 2015.

Sanjay, an accomplished technology leader focusing on customer-centric, enterprise B2B SaaS platforms, recently joined Degreed. His extensive Future of Work experience is marked by his previous roles at Atheer, Flype, and Saba, where he successfully built and scaled comprehensive enterprise-grade platforms. At Degreed, Sanjay’s key focus will be collaborating closely with the engineering team and company leaders to develop the Learning, Academies, Marketplace, Skills, Deskless, and AI roadmaps.
Building on strong growth
The new C-Suite additions will build on a strong foundation of growth that Degreed has experienced over the past 12 months. Recent highlights include launching the new Degreed Content Marketplace: a flexible, more equitable approach to offering external upskilling programs, with tools that make it easier to match employees with the right program, manage budgets, optimize spending, and align learning resources with organizational goals. Spend management tools including a virtual card that can be used for Learning Stipends, Tuition Assistance and Reimbursement as well as direct billing and other forms of payment.
Additional enhancements to the Degreed LXP (learning experience platform) include new and improved segment reporting for greater personalization and insights, and automation/business rules features to improve administrative team efficiency. And a new partnership with BetterUp — the first coaching resource available on the Degreed LXP.
