On September 24, 2024, Zoom announced the launch of several new add-on products and functionalities aimed at enhancing its advanced enterprise offerings portfolio. This portfolio includes a comprehensive range of products designed to assist organizations in meeting compliance, security, privacy, survivability, and manageability requirements.

New Offerings for Enterprise Customers
In 2023, global non-compliance penalties exceeded $549 million, security breaches affected over 353 million individuals, and 31 percent of enterprises experienced unstable network conditions. As companies face increasing pressures to manage complex compliance obligations and avoid significant penalties, Zoom’s latest enhancements to its advanced enterprise offerings address these challenges effectively.

Zoom Compliance Manager Plus: Launched in March and powered by Theta Lake, this all-in-one solution provides archiving, eDiscovery, legal hold, and information protection for enterprises. The enhanced features of Zoom Compliance Manager Plus, including risk detection, data loss protection, and advanced trend analysis, will help organizations fulfill regulatory obligations and mitigate compliance risks.
Zoom Meeting Survivability: This new feature introduces enhanced network redundancy, ensuring uninterrupted service during internet disruptions due to storms, natural disasters, or carrier failures. Using Zoom Node, a centralized hub for hosting Zoom workloads on-premises, meetings can smoothly transition to local servers with minimal disruption.
Zoom Mesh for Meetings: Companies can now optimize bandwidth usage with Zoom Mesh, reducing internet bandwidth costs by up to 60 percent. Previously available for Zoom Webinars and Events, this capability is now extended to Zoom Meetings, ensuring an exceptional user experience regardless of bandwidth constraints.
Zoom Customer Managed Key (CMK) Hybrid: Enhancing Zoom’s current CMK data privacy offering, CMK Hybrid provides customers with more control over the encryption keys that protect their data. This feature allows for local encryption and decryption processes, with support for Zoom Team Chat set to begin in Q4 2024.
