Shopify Expands Access to its AI-Driven Functionalities to Lure More Businesses

According to a report by Reuters, Shopify made its artificial intelligence-driven tools, such as the Sidekick assistant and image-generation functionalities, accessible to more users on Monday, with an aim to enhance the appeal of its e-commerce platform and increase revenue growth. Clients can now leverage its editing features on their smartphones to improve images utilized in promotional campaigns, including emails. This functionality was earlier limited to only editing product images online.

Shopify has enabled access to Sidekick, its chatbot that assists merchants with client queries, including valuable insights on client behavior, which has been in a testing stage since last year with more than 2,000 users.
