Accelerator Program Will Take Place During Advertising Week Europe on 16-19 May
Advertising Week, the world’s largest annual gathering of marketing, advertising, media and technology leaders, returns to London for its Europe event from 16-19 May 2022. The hybrid event will introduce the new Accelerator programme to the European market, which provides education and business acceleration to marketing- and technology-related startups. Like the inaugural Accelerator in New York, the programme focuses on a next-generation theory of marketing created by Mastercard Global CMO Raja Rajammanar called Quantum Marketing.
“The Accelerator was a big smash in New York. We saw fifteen startups work closely with Raja and our panel of experts. They all seemed quite pleased with the experience,” says Ruth Mortimer, Advertising Week’s Managing Director, Global Education and Development. “We’re excited to bring the programme to London and debut it at Advertising Week Europe, and can’t wait to discover new talents.”

The theory of Quantum Marketing comes from Rajamannar’s book, which predicts that our future will continue to be disrupted by explosive new technologies, momentous cultural shifts, and an abundance of data. The Accelerator will leverage the combined expertise of the world’s leading global brand, media and technology executives, including Rajamannar himself, to bring together technology startups that specialise in:

The one-day, in-person Quantum Marketing-themed accelerator programme is designed for early-stage companies with a product or service in the market and a maximum of Series A funding. Ten (10) companies will be selected and will receive:
- The chance to become AWEurope’s 2022’s Best in Show and develop a Proof Of Concept (POC) with a Quantum Marketing Accelerator mentor.
- Education via a blended learning model that features workshops and a mentoring programme, complete with networking and inspiration from leading brand, media, agency, technology and investment executives.
- Opportunity to network with influential Advertising Week Europe attendees.
- Curated meetings with brand and marketing executives during the Accelerator.
