Simulmedia, the industry leader in truly cross-channel TV advertising, announced the return of Jon Werther in the newly created role of Executive Vice President, Operations and Business Development. Mr. Werther, who is returning to Simulmedia after ten years at other companies, previously served as President and as Chief Revenue Officer of Simulmedia between 2010-2012.

Most recently, Mr. Werther served as Executive Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & New Business Development for the Professional Fighters League (PFL), where he led international expansion efforts and new business initiatives for the rapidly growing sports league.
Prior to that, Mr. Werther held multiple positions at Meredith Corporation, including President, National Media Group; Executive Vice President, National Media Group; President, Meredith Digital; and Chief Strategy Officer. At Meredith, he was responsible for all of the company’s multiplatform national brands and the management of all digital properties, video and mobile efforts, as well as all digital product, sales, marketing, account management and indirect monetization functions. He also led Consumer Marketing efforts for all National Media Group brands.
Before his time at Meredith and his first stint at Simulmedia, Mr. Werther spent more than ten years in a variety of executive positions at Time Warner and its AOL division.
Mr. Werther started his career as an Associate at Arnold & Porter, LLP, in Washington, D.C. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, and a B.A. from Emory University.
