New data released by leading direct marketing automation company Sendoso revealed a surge in green gifting and sustainable vendors as environmentally sound practices remain a key element to corporate marketing strategies. Sendoso found that customers committed 10% more spend with sustainable companies from 2021-2022, resulting in a 220% increase in vendors with sustainable practices joining the sending platform, including Modern Sprout, Pomp, Laumière, One Hope Winery, Jiggy and Verve Culture.
The data outlines a dramatic shift by brands toward more sustainable practices and offerings when it comes to corporate gifting among businesses and their employees.

“More and more companies around the world are listening to their employees and supporting their desire for better sustainability in their own lives, and that is having a direct impact on their gifting choices as well as the gifting industry,” said Kris Rudeegraap.. “Options to support sustainability are no longer a luxury; they are a necessity for success. And brands are turning to Sendoso to help them make a sustainable impact within their gifting strategies.”
A recent Sendoso global gifting report found that sustainability concerns for gifts have become significantly more important over the last two years, with 42% of respondents saying it’s more important for gifts to be made of sustainable materials than it was in 2020. And more than one-third said they want gifts sent with zero package wasting and produced by a company that offsets its carbon footprint.
