G2, the world’s largest and most trusted software marketplace, announced it has appointed Sydney Sloan as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). A seasoned marketing leader, Sloan brings decades of experience driving transformative growth for technology businesses, including marketing leadership roles at pre-IPO and post-IPO companies
Most recently, she was the first-ever CMO at Drata, the compliance automation software company which appeared on five of G2’s 2024 Best Software Awards lists and ranked sixth on LinkedIn’s 2023 list of Top Startups. Before that, as CMO of revenue workflow platform Salesloft, Sloan helped scale the company 10x in less than four years — expanding the marketing team as the company grew from series C to E, with a $2.3B valuation and investment by Vista Equity Partners. She was also CMO at Alfresco, and held several marketing leadership roles at Adobe during a 17-year tenure.
