UPSTACK, the fastest-growing advisory platform for digital infrastructure, announced that it named channel veteran Rick Dellar to its board of directors. Dellar also will serve as Senior Advisor to UPSTACK Founder and CEO Christopher Trapp.

Dellar is well known in the telecom and IT channel as a co-founder and CEO of Intelisys, the industry’s largest technology services distributor (TSD) of business telecommunications and cloud services. Dellar was instrumental in building the TSD from a startup in 1994 to a record-setting $120 million in gross commissions in 2015. In 2016, Intelisys sold to ScanSource Inc. in the industry’s first union of major telecom and IT distributors. The watershed deal put the telecom services channel on the radars of Wall Street and private equity investors.
Following the transaction, Dellar served on Intelisys’ leadership team until July 2020. For the last two years, Dellar has been the founder and managing partner at Nacimiento Building Partners, a high-end residential real estate developer. He plans to continue his real estate business and other entrepreneurial endeavors.
