Marketing Titan Launches The Avenue Z Network

Digital visionary Jeffrey Herzog announced the launch of the Avenue Z Network, a new strategic communications consultancy. Avenue Z will build and scale the next generation of integrated communications with public relations and digital media solutions for growth-driven brands.

“Avenue Z will bring together the world’s most talented publicists, content creators, media buyers, marketers and data analysts to craft narratives that move the needle for business growth. Now more than ever, companies need to measure their brand authority in the marketplace, and Avenue Z will do that through a direct relationship with the C-suite, acting as an extension of their business teams for all things public relations and marketing,” said Herzog.

With the launch, the Company also announced its first acquisition of The Snow Agency, founded by social pioneers Jonathan and Daniel Snow. One of the fastest-growing social media marketing companies in the U.S. in 2022, as ranked by AdWeek and the Inc 5000 award, the Snow Agency has scaled over 200 DTC brands driving over $1B in revenue.

“In a changing environment that is difficult to keep pace with, brands will lean more on specialized agencies for strategic guidance on what’s next and untapped. By joining forces with Jeff, we’ll have the resources and expertise to differentiate our capabilities.”

“With the acquisition, we’re launching the first PR performance funnel to generate trackable ROI. It’s game-changing for the DTC industry,” Snow adds.

Avenue Z is actively executing an acquisitive and organic growth strategy to bring together leading public relations and digital media firms to offer end-to-end services, backed by analytics and data science. Avenue Z is funded by Herzog and Baleon Capital, a private equity fund focused on B2B tech-enabled services.

“We’re excited to partner with Jeff to support his vision to transform the strategic communications landscape,” said Jon Kaiden, Chairman and Managing Partner of Baleon Capital. “Jeff’s ability to inspire team members and founders to drive towards a north star mission and create enterprise value is unquestionable. Given his track record, he will attract the highest performing talent to Avenue Z.”

Early in his career, Herzog established the search marketing industry before Google was Google. As one of the most influential leaders in digital marketing, Herzog has inspired thousands of team members and clients alike —including over 75 of the Fortune 500. Herzog’s first start up, iCrossing, was built into a global company with 17 offices and over $140M in annual net revenue before being acquired by Hearst Magazines in 2010 for $450M. He also acquired numerous companies both nationally and internationally including NewGate Internet (San Francisco), Proxicom (VA), Spannerworks (UK) and 3G Net (Munich). Herzog has raised over $100M in venture capital from firms including Goldman Sachs, RRE Ventures, OAK Investment Partners and Generation Partners. Herzog’s startup, ZOG Digital, founded in 2011 elevated content marketing and grew into one of the fastest growing marketing companies in the US before being acquired by UK-based Investis Digital in 2018.
