Trident Technical College in Charleston, South Carolina, has selected YuJa, Inc. to replace its former Video Learning Platform, Techsmith Knowmia, after the company announced it would no longer provide enterprise education video hosting. Trident Technical College also wanted to replace the use of a number of other disparate systems with one centrally supported and maintained solution.
“Our teams have been working diligently to migrate data and relink courses so instructors and students can focus on teaching and learning.”
With the YuJa Enterprise Video Platform, the institution will be able to leverage an all-in-one tool to record, edit, caption and distribute video, along with providing quizzing, the ability to embed videos and media into D2L Brightspace, the institution’s Learning Management System (LMS), and will have access to other tools that will increase interactivity and drive collaboration.
“We know that migrating any technology tool can be a challenge, which is why we work to make the process as seamless as possible,” said Nathan Arora, Chief Business Officer. “Our teams have been working diligently to migrate data and relink courses so instructors and students can focus on teaching and learning.”
