Wix Collaborates with Microsoft 365 Copilot to Embed Automated Website Creation and Management

Wix, a leading global SaaS platform for creating, managing, and growing a digital presence, has announced a strategic collaboration with Microsoft to integrate its Wix Harmony website creation engine natively into Microsoft 365 Copilot. Leveraging Copilot’s generally available support for the OpenAI Apps SDK, the partnership meets professionals where they already work by allowing users to deploy, update, and manage professional web assets without leaving their primary digital workspace.

The integration effectively transforms a standard conversational AI interface into a centralized growth engine. Beyond simply spinning up customer-facing digital storefronts, business leaders and entrepreneurs can now leverage the entire Wix business logic and analytics ecosystem directly inside the Microsoft 365 dashboard, cutting down operational silos and simplifying day-to-day business administration.

Accelerating Web Development Through Conversational Cloud Infrastructure

The unified solution changes how modern teams approach corporate web design and digital management. Within the Microsoft 365 Copilot interface, users can rapidly initiate web creation by inputting a text or voice description detailing their industry, target audience, strategic objectives, and visual brand identity.

From that single prompt, a complete, production-ready Wix Harmony website is constructed on Wix’s enterprise-grade hosting infrastructure. The resulting web assets come equipped with essential, pre-configured operational capabilities, including:

  • E-Commerce and Transactions: Integrated retail systems, custom product inventory modules, and secure payment processing gateways.
  • Operational Planning: Native scheduling software and dynamic reservation booking components.
  • Technical Performance Optimizations: High-speed delivery networks, strict security protocols, built-in accessibility compliance, and automated search engine optimization (SEO) alongside Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) data frameworks.

Once the initial web asset is generated, users can continue the technical workflow in the exact same chat thread. By using natural language commands, internal teams can introduce specialized business capabilities, query live performance analytics, and roll out real-time site updates.

“Wix Harmony enables anyone to optimize their digital experience and turn ideas into reality,” said Shahar Talmi, GM of Developer Platform at Wix. “With this collaboration, users can now also build within Microsoft 365 Copilot, eliminating the need to jump between tools. As creation moves into chat-based interfaces, Wix Harmony ensures that building a professional website is as simple and intuitive as asking for it in the platform you’re already on.”

“Bringing the Wix Harmony website creation experience into Microsoft 365 Copilot reflects where work is headed,” said Bryan Goode, CVP of Business Applications and Agents at Microsoft. “Through an interactive, chat‑based experience, teams can design, build, and manage sites directly in the flow of their work. Our goal is to make it easy to create and move work forward while reducing toggling and context switching as much as possible.”

Eliminating Context Switching and App Fragmentation

Activating the feature requires minimal setup within the corporate productivity environment. Users simply connect the Wix application inside their Microsoft suite and initiate the workspace agent by prompting “@Wix” within the standard Copilot chat box.

Once connected, the underlying web infrastructure remains entirely synchronized. Management teams can seamlessly access, update, and oversee their digital assets through Microsoft 365 Copilot or directly via the traditional Wix Business Manager dashboard. This dual-path visibility allows administrators to handle logistics like updating product pricing catalogs, monitoring fulfillment channels, evaluating real-time visitor analytics, and adjusting corporate booking schedules within whichever application matches their immediate focus.
