Adobe Inc. unveiled a new AI Assistant (beta) in Adobe Express-a conversational, agent-driven experience enabling users of any skill level to move from idea to polished content in minutes. The Assistant understands design intent and context, letting users describe what they want-such as changing backgrounds, fonts or themes-and automatically applies edits without disrupting parts of the design they like. It integrates with Adobe’s professional-grade tools and libraries, so users can toggle between conversational creation and manual controls like sliders and colour pickers.

The debut version, available to Express Premium customers on desktop now, is set to expand to all users via the Firefly credit system and will include enterprise features in months ahead. With this launch, Adobe reinforces its strategy to embed “agentic AI” across its creative ecosystem, combining generative models, human-centric workflows and brand-safe controls to empower both novices and professionals in content creation.
