Iterable has appointed Teri Hatfield as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), bringing an enterprise software executive with more than 25 years of experience across sales, data analytics, and AI-driven technology to the role. Hatfield will oversee Iterable’s global revenue and go-to-market organization, including sales, customer success, commercial segments, and partner channels.

Hatfield joins Iterable from Salesforce, where she most recently served as Executive Vice President of Specialist Sales & Solutions. Her responsibilities there covered sales and solutions engineering teams across a portfolio that included Tableau, Slack, Digital, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Commerce Cloud.

Before that, Hatfield led Tableau’s global sales organization, working with enterprises adopting analytics and data technologies. Her experience also includes earlier leadership roles at Verizon. She was named one of the Top 50 Women Chief Revenue Officers of 2025 by Women We Admire.

Her appointment comes as customer engagement platforms increasingly incorporate artificial intelligence, real-time data activation, and automation into marketing workflows. Marketers are moving toward more individualized customer experiences, while organizations are also dealing with increasingly complex data environments and demands for faster engagement.

For Iterable, the addition of Hatfield places enterprise sales and go-to-market leadership at the center of its next phase of growth. Her background in enterprise sales and analytics aligns with a market where customer engagement is becoming increasingly connected to data infrastructure and AI capabilities.

Hatfield has said that her interest in Iterable stems from the broader shift toward connecting customer data with AI-powered engagement. She also emphasized the importance of understanding customers and turning that understanding into actionable experiences.

The appointment reflects a broader trend across MarTech, where revenue leadership is increasingly intertwined with data, AI, customer experience, and technology adoption. As marketing platforms evolve from campaign execution tools toward more integrated customer engagement systems, CROs are increasingly operating across sales, customer success, partnerships, and technology-driven go-to-market functions.

Hatfield’s move adds another experienced enterprise technology leader to the customer engagement sector as companies continue to rethink how data and AI can influence customer relationships.
