MiQ to Acquire Adsmovil’s Latin America Business, Creating Region’s Largest Independent Programmatic Platform

MiQ Group has made an announcement regarding an agreement for acquiring the Latin American business of Adsmovil. The acquisition of Adsmovil’s Latin American business has been considered an important milestone in the expansion strategy of MiQ. With the acquisition of Adsmovil’s Latin American business, MiQ Group is further strengthening its footprint in the high growth markets of Latin America.

With the acquisition, MiQ Group is further strengthening its footprint in 12 countries across Latin America, including Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Peru, Puerto Rico, and Uruguay. With the acquisition, MiQ Group is helping advertisers with a unified solution driven by data to run programmatic campaigns effectively.

MiQ’s proprietary AI technology platform, Sigma, is an integral part of this expansion strategy. The platform uses over 700 trillion global data signals to connect disparate advertising ecosystems. This facilitates seamless connectivity to target audiences across various channels such as connected TV, web, mobile, and in-store environments. As part of this expansion strategy, MiQ is set to officially unveil its Sigma offering in Latin America in May 2026, including Adsmovil’s data capabilities such as Personas dataset and Linki retail media.

With Adsmovil’s regional expertise and strong portfolio of omnichannel products such as mobile, commerce, and digital out-of-home advertising, we can provide an even stronger offering to advertisers. Their data-agnostic audience segmentation capabilities combined with our strong first-party data assets will provide an even stronger offering to advertisers.

With this partnership, we will bring together over 150 employees in the region and offer advertisers access to over 400 million unique audience identifiers. This will allow advertisers to gain better insights into consumer behavior in terms of what they are watching, browsing, and buying.

For global holding companies and multinational brands, the acquisition simplifies access to Latin American audiences through a single, integrated platform. Clients will benefit from expanded inventory, diverse ad formats, and unified campaign planning, activation, and optimization. Existing MiQ clients in the region will also gain enhanced capabilities across mobile, retail media, connected TV (CTV), video, YouTube, and DOOH channels, supported by local managed service teams.

“Acquiring Adsmovil is a major step in our strategy to build the most complete, data-driven programmatic offering for clients in LatAm and around the world,” said Gurman Hundal, Co-Founder and Global CEO, MiQ. “As a company, our ambition has always been to connect advertisers to audiences wherever they are and however they engage with media. This acquisition allows us to include this region’s most talented minds and compelling services with our ambitious roadmap. Their focus on innovation, measurable outcomes and client partnership closely mirrors ours at MiQ.”

“When we built Adsmovil, our goal was simple: create and deliver best-in-class solutions for clients across Latin America,” said Alberto “Banano” Pardo, Adsmovil Founder and CEO. “With this acquisition, MiQ’s clients gain that edge through expanded access to mobile, retail media, and DOOH, while Adsmovil’s clients benefit through connection to MiQ’s award-winning technology and global scope. It’s a win-win for all of our clients.”

After the completion of the transaction, the Latin American operations of Adsmovil will be integrated into the operations of MiQ, under the leadership of Eric Tourtel, CEO of Latin America operations for MiQ. Furthermore, Adsmovil’s Latin American operations CEO, Alberto “Banano” Pardo, will assume the role of Chairman of the Latin American operations of MiQ, where he will continue to play a strategic role as a hands-on advisor. Adsmovil’s operations in the United States will continue independently and are not included in the acquisition.

This strategic move by Adsmovil will enable the organization to enhance its commitment to the delivery of scalable programmatic solutions, while allowing advertisers to better navigate the complexities of the Latin American media landscape.
