SAP to Take Over Israel-based WalkMe

SAP, a German software firm, announced on Wednesday that it will acquire WalkMe, a leader in digital adoption platforms (DAPs) headquartered in Tel Aviv.

WalkMe’s solutions enable enterprises to navigate constant technology change by offering users advanced guidance and automation functionalities that allow them to streamline workflows across any number of applications.

The acquisition is still subjected to customary closing conditions including the WalkMe shareholder’s approval and required regulatory clearances. The acquisition amount is valued at up to $1.5 billion and is forecasted to be closed by Q3 of 2024.
