Mark Nagle Promoted to Senior Director - Head of EMEA & APAC, Sales Development & Customer Acceleration at ServiceNow

ServiceNow has expanded Mark Nagle’s responsibilities, with Nagle stepping into the role of Senior Director, Global Business Acceleration, covering both EMEA and APAC. He shared the career update on LinkedIn, noting that his scope at ServiceNow will now include the APAC region alongside EMEA.
Nagle described the move as an expansion of his existing responsibilities and thanked ServiceNow leaders Kristen McCormack Campbell and Nalina Athyantha for their continued confidence in his leadership.
The broader remit places Nagle across two major international regions at a time when enterprise technology companies are navigating significant changes in how businesses operate, sell, and engage with customers.

Global business acceleration functions increasingly sit at the intersection of sales development, customer engagement, go-to-market execution, and operational strategy. As technology buying becomes more complex, companies are looking to align these functions more closely to support customers across different markets.
For ServiceNow, the EMEA and APAC regions represent diverse markets with different business environments, technology adoption patterns, regulatory considerations, and customer requirements. Managing business acceleration across both regions therefore requires a balance between global priorities and local market needs.
The expansion also comes as enterprises continue to evaluate technologies around automation, artificial intelligence, workflow modernization, and digital transformation. These areas are influencing how technology vendors engage with organizations and how buyers assess technology investments.
From a MarTech and enterprise technology perspective, business acceleration is becoming increasingly connected to customer experience and data. Sales and marketing teams are working with larger volumes of customer information while using automation and AI to identify opportunities, personalize engagement, and improve decision-making.
Leadership roles spanning multiple regions can also play an important part in maintaining consistency across these increasingly connected functions. At the same time, regional teams need flexibility to respond to different customer expectations and market conditions.
Nagle’s expanded role reflects this balance. Rather than focusing on a single geography, his new remit brings EMEA and APAC under one global business acceleration leadership structure.
For the broader technology and marketing ecosystem, the move highlights how organizations are continuing to bring sales development, customer acceleration, and regional growth functions closer together.
As enterprise technology adoption continues to evolve, leaders responsible for business acceleration will increasingly be expected to connect market strategy with customer needs, operational execution, and measurable business outcomes.
