Tealium, a global leader in customer data orchestration, has announced the commercial launch of the Tealium Context API. Serving as an evolution of the company’s established Tealium Moments API, the new solution establishes a low-latency governance and context layer on top of legacy data warehouses. The expansion enables enterprise organizations to feed real-time behavioral insights into artificial intelligence models and application workflows without moving or duplicating foundational data assets.
The rollout bridges a critical operational gap in enterprise AI deployment. While corporations have spent significantly to build centralized data clouds, the intelligence stored within these warehouses is often locked behind high-latency processing queues. Because autonomous AI agents require instant access to active customer context to execute workflows effectively, traditional data retrieval frameworks fall short. By utilizing the managed MCP server, the interface simplifies operations across several key customer-facing environments:
- Agentic AI Framework Gateways: The system delivers live profile states, audience segments, and user consent parameters directly to AI engines. This enables corporate agents to evaluate decisions using accurate, real-time context rather than relying on generic, pre-configured system prompts.
