Atlanta Marketing Agency, Alloy, Hires Veteran Jenni McDonough as Chief People Officer

Alloy, an integrated marketing agency for global tech brands, welcomes Jenni McDonough as chief people officer where she will lead talent attraction and retention, drive innovation through strategic employee relations, and nurture the firm’s vibrant culture. Her appointment comes in Alloy’s 10th anniversary year and on the heels of a momentous 2022 where the agency grew 15% and expanded headcount by 20%.

McDonough brings over 20 years of progressive HR experience to Alloy spanning performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution, internal communications and more.

“Alloy’s leadership team has built a culture rooted in its people and a business that’s built to scale as fast as the IT industries it serves,” said McDonough. “I was drawn to the agency because it has both a strong foundation and a future-forward vision that will provide endless possibilities for marketing talent. I’m excited to work with Alloy’s managers, build solutions-focused HR programs, and welcome new hires into the firm’s next chapter of growth.”

Prior to joining Alloy’s Uncommon Crew, Jenni served as the senior vice president, director of talent, for 22squared, Inc. for seven years. There, she managed organizational effectiveness and supported the executive team and business leaders on agency initiatives with her knack for translating business goals into strategic HR and operational plans.

Her experience also includes four years as VP of HR for Engauge Marketing (acquired by Moxie/Publicis Groupe, NA). Jenni joined the agency when it was 200 employees, and managed full-cycle human resources as its workforce scaled to more than 525+ across five offices. Before Engauge, Jenni spent 11 years at MS&LGroup, a Publicis Groupe company, where she managed everything from talent attraction, development and retention to benefits administration as its VP of HR.

“For creative, technical, and communications agencies like Alloy, our business value is our people,” said Alloy’s CEO Raj Choudhury. “I couldn’t be more excited and confident in Jenni’s addition to our executive team. With two decades of experience at some of the world’s largest shops, she knows the caliber of work that today’s clients demand, and how to attract and cultivate best-in-class talent that can deliver stand-out results.”
