Webflow has announced the acquisition of Vidoso.ai, a multi-modal AI company specializing in scalable creative asset generation. The move is part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its agentic web marketing platform, allowing marketers to work with an AI partner within a workflow to design digital experiences more efficiently.
The acquisition is also a testament to Webflow’s ambitions to move beyond a traditional visual web development platform to a platform where AI-driven automation helps marketers design, manage, and optimize digital content.
Advancing AI-Powered Marketing Workflows
Vidoso.ai is a multi-modal AI technology company founded in the San Francisco Bay Area. Its AI technology is intended to create visual and video content while maintaining brand consistency through pre-defined brand guidelines, templates, and campaign specifications. The technology is focused on creating content that can be marketed to diverse audiences, industries, campaigns, and channels while maintaining consistency.

As part of the integration, Webflow intends to introduce Vidoso’s AI technology and agents into its platform over time. This technology is expected to aid the creation of assets using AI technology while maintaining a controlled environment aligned with the brand standards of an organization.
Existing Vidoso customers will continue to have uninterrupted access to their current products while the integration progresses.
“The Vidoso team brings deep expertise in building agents that respect brand and structure,” said Linda Tong, Webflow CEO. “Right now, marketing teams are experimenting with AI in disconnected tools. Content gets generated, but no one owns the guardrails. If AI is going to power modern marketing, then it must operate with the rules, permissions, and workflows of the system of record. That’s what we’re building with our agentic web marketing platform.”
Bridging the Gap Between AI and Brand Governance
One of the challenges marketers face when using generative AI tools is maintaining brand consistency across large-scale campaigns. Many generative AI models are trained on broad internet data, which can result in content that lacks alignment with a company’s brand identity, guidelines, or approval workflows.
Vidoso was designed to address this challenge by embedding AI directly into structured marketing environments where brand rules, templates, and governance frameworks already exist.
“Frontier models are trained on the average of the internet, not on the specifics of your brand. The first wave of AI gave marketing teams powerful but ungoverned AI that is capable of generating generic content, but blind to brand systems, rules, templates, and the approval workflows that keep enterprise marketing coherent,” said Sharad Verma, CEO and co-founder of Vidoso. “Vidoso was built to close that gap, making AI generation consistent, governed, and production-ready inside the systems marketing teams already use. Webflow’s vision for an agentic web marketing platform provides that governed environment where agentic generation becomes core infrastructure for how teams build and manage their web presence.”
Expanding Webflow’s Role in Modern Marketing
The acquisition is another step towards the evolution of the Webflow platform to serve the entire digital marketing and web experience management process. By incorporating AI agents into their platform, Webflow is helping teams move faster while retaining full control and oversight of their brand integrity.
With this approach, marketers have the opportunity to manage the entire process-from planning to creation, design, publication, and optimization—within a unified platform where AI agents are not only available but also serve as a partner to marketers.
With the evolution of generative AI changing the way marketers operate, the move by Webflow to acquire Vidoso’s technology is a testament to the growing interest in the industry to adopt a system of AI agents that are both automated and have a structured brand system.
