Napster Unveils NV2 to Make Multimodal AI Video Agents More Accessible

NV2 (Napster Video Model 2) has been introduced by Napster as a conversational video model that offers real-time support to increase the availability and reduce costs of making multimodal AI assistants available to enterprises. NV2 is available via the Napster Omniagent API and can stream Full HD video at a frame rate of 30 fps. Additionally, the model allows two-way conversations between the user and the conversational AI, thus allowing companies to have their own AI-assisted coworkers, customer service agents, and virtual assistants. One of the key features of NV2 is its cost-effectiveness.

Cost saving is considered by the company to be an important way of eliminating one of the key barriers and making sure that companies regardless of their size will be able to use the technology and integrate digital agents with features such as video, voice, and text within other apps and user experience. NV2, according to the company, is part of the larger trend in AI development related to embodied and agentic intelligence, which goes beyond text-based interactions in terms of providing digital agents with human-like characteristics. This product launch complements the existing Omniagent platform created by Napster in relation to its wider AI environment.
