Accenture Acquires Whalar to Strengthen Creator Marketing Capabilities

An agreement has been reached where Accenture will purchase Whalar, which is a market leader in creator agencies, from Whalar Group as it looks to improve its creator marketing efforts at Accenture Song. It goes without saying that this deal highlights the importance of employing techniques like influencer marketing and social commerce in today’s digital age. Once this deal is completed, Whalar’s more than 170 employees spread across the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, and Spain will become part of Accenture Song.

It is anticipated that the arrangement will allow companies to engage with their audience effectively through their collaborations with authentic creators by leveraging the expertise of Whalar alongside Accenture Song’s technological and customer experience capabilities. In conjunction with the acquisition, Accenture Song and Whalar Group have also entered into a strategic partnership over three years aimed at fostering innovations in the creator economy. The Whalar Group will operate its other businesses separately. This acquisition demonstrates the growing importance of creator-driven marketing in contemporary advertising techniques.
