INVIDI Technologies and Google Expand Addressable Advertising to Unconnected TV Set-Top Boxes

Through its partnership with Google, INVIDI Technologies has been able to incorporate Google Ad Manager to facilitate the use of addressable advertisements on tens of millions of set-top boxes (STBs) worldwide which had not previously been connected through the internet. This has enabled advertisers to run Programmatic Guaranteed campaigns through DV360, allowing the application of digital-style targeting to homes which would have otherwise remained unreachable for advertisers due to the absence of internet connectivity.

While beginning with a huge market opportunity in India, where millions of homes use STBs that are not connected to anything, the partnership also serves the purpose of becoming available worldwide so that the publishers can make their premium digital campaigns available to more television audiences. By combining INVIDI’s addressable advertising solutions with Google Ad Manager’s programmatic solution, this partnership helps broadcasters, agencies, and advertisers enhance their campaign precision, generate new sources of revenue, and bring innovation to linear TV advertising without modifying the current broadcasting framework.
