MiQ taps Camilo Salah as Vice President of Marketing for Latin America

MiQ, the global programmatic media partner headquartered in London, has announced the appointment of Camilo Salah as Vice President of Marketing for Latin America, reinforcing the company’s commitment to accelerating growth across the region and deepening its presence in key strategic markets.

In his new role, Camilo will oversee MiQ’s marketing strategy across Latin America, including its six core markets, Brazil among them. He will be responsible for driving brand positioning, public relations, content strategy, partnerships, and demand generation, working closely with global leadership and local Managing Directors.

With over 15 years of experience across the marketing, advertising, and technology industries, Salah brings a unique blend of creative thinking and commercial strategy to MiQ’s leadership team. He has held senior roles across Latin America, leading multicultural teams and scaling operations with a consistent focus on innovation, data, and business results.

Prior to joining MiQ, Camilo served as Managing Director for Wavemaker (GroupM/WPP) in the Andean region, where he oversaw regional operations and led integrated media and strategy teams. He was most recently the General Manager and VP of Business Development for NP Digital —the California based global agency founded by Neil Patel—where he helped expand the firm’s footprint in Colombia and Latin America, with a strong focus on performance marketing and SEO. He also held roles at Wunderman and Y&R (now VML), building a well-rounded perspective on the evolving digital landscape.

Throughout his career, he has partnered with leading global and regional brands such as Microsoft, Netflix, Colgate-Palmolive, Texaco, Mercado Libre, Rappi, Avianca, and SURA, delivering data-led, technology-powered marketing strategies designed to drive measurable impact.

Named one of the most admired media professionals in Colombia by SCOPEN in 2022/2023, Camilo has also served as a jury member at some of the industry’s most respected award shows, including the Effie Awards LATAM, the Festival of Media, and Cannes Lions’ Young Lions competition.

A graduate of the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, Italy and holder of an MSc in Marketing from Kingston Business School in London, UK, Camilo combines creative and media sensibility with analytical rigor. He has taught postgraduate courses in marketing at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and served as a guest lecturer at the University of the Andes. He is also a regular columnist for publications including Diario La República, Forbes, and P&M, where he writes about topics ranging from digital transformation and emerging technologies to finance and blockchain.
