Microsoft and Publicis Groupe Deepen AI Alliance to Shape the Future of Agentic Marketing

The partnership between Microsoft and Publicis Groupe has been enhanced into a full-stack AI-enabled marketing ecosystem that is tailor-made for the new era of agentic marketing. This is ten years after the inception of Marcel by the two companies, with the current partnership seeking to combine existing systems, agents, and identity data to aid companies achieve marketing success and link marketing campaigns with business results. The partnership has been built on Microsoft’s technologies, such as Azure, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Agent 365, and Fabric, in conjunction with the transformation capability of Sapient and identity data capability of Epsilon from Publicis Groupe.

Working together, the two entities intend to help organizations automate crucial aspects of marketing, including segmentation of their target audience, personalization of their content creation, delivery of campaigns across all channels, and optimization of spending – all in a secure corporate environment. Apart from that, the alliance will see Publicis adopt Microsoft 365 Copilot across its workforce numbering more than 114,000 people and selecting Microsoft Azure as a preferred cloud partner. Finally, the partnership will bolster the commercial ties between the parties, with Publicis serving as Microsoft’s global media agency of record.
