Lyniate Launches New Cloud Deployment Option for Market Leading Corepoint Integration Engine

Company also Receives ISO 27001 Information Security Certification for all Products

Lyniate, a global leader in healthcare data interoperability, announced that Corepoint, the company’s Best in KLAS® integration engine, is now available for deployment as a service to meet the needs of clients looking to migrate from on-premises to cloud-based deployments. Additionally, Lyniate recently achieved ISO 27001 certification for all of its offerings, validating the company’s commitment to information security and meeting the highest international standards. Both achievements strengthen Lyniate’s position as a leader in healthcare data integration and interoperability solutions, attested to in Epic’s recent decision to select Lyniate as the data integration services partner for its Garden Plot offering for physician practices.

“For many healthcare organizations, the pandemic accelerated their plans to move infrastructure to the cloud, and Corepoint is now able to help them on this journey”

The new Corepoint cloud deployment offering is built on AWS, giving customers all of the advantages of the industry’s leading cloud platform, and includes an intuitive UI to migrate, develop, and manage interfaces. A team of Lyniate professionals supports the solution, managing each client instance to ensure system resiliency, speed, and security. Corepoint cloud deployment customers also receive key upgrades and security patches, business continuity services, hardware maintenance, and a robust disaster recovery program.

“For many healthcare organizations, the pandemic accelerated their plans to move infrastructure to the cloud, and Corepoint is now able to help them on this journey,” said Erkan Akyuz, CEO of Lyniate. “With aggressive growth goals and streamlined workforces, healthcare IT teams are increasingly focused on leveraging interoperability as a service offerings that give them the ability to integrate and innovate at speed while freeing up valuable resources for strategic initiatives. The Lyniate team is already engaging with several of our clients to migrate their interface engine functionality to the cloud, and we look forward to expanding that work as more of our customers embrace this approach.”

Organizations can experience numerous benefits in migrating to a cloud deployment, such as flexibility, risk reduction, increased security, faster deployment, agile development, resiliency, and scalability. The flexibility that Corepoint in the cloud provides can translate into cost savings and capital expenditure reallocation for teams that no longer need to independently host and manage integrations. The new cloud deployment option can also operate alongside an on-premises engine, in a hybrid capacity, supporting flexible growth and phased transitions.

Earlier this year, Lyniate was awarded ISO 27001 information security certification for all of its product and service offerings, including the new Corepoint cloud deployment option.

“This ISO 27001 certification stands as a testament to our commitment to maintaining compliance, security and business continuity for all of our clients,” said Scott Galbari, President, COO, and CISO of Lyniate. “More than 1,500 healthcare organizations rely on us as a trusted partner, and complying with complex security and privacy regulations, including GDPR and HIPAA, is just one of the ways we earn that trust. Another way is by listening to our clients and meeting them where they are, which is why we are launching Corepoint as a service for those healthcare delivery organizations making the leap to the cloud.”

ISO 27001 is a widely recognized and globally accepted information security standard which details specific requirements for a comprehensive Information Security Management System (ISMS). The standard defines best practices for managing information securely, including the implementation of appropriate security controls for risk mitigation.
