WellSaid, the industry’s trusted AI voice platform for businesses, announced the introduction of new features delivering advanced, more in-depth customization and automation of generative voice. Platform improvements include 15 brand new voice styles added to WellSaid’s already extensive voice library, verbal cues to intuitively customize pitch, pace, and loudness, and new team collaboration enhancements to streamline production with an emphasis on quality, data protection, and improved workflows.
As a leading AI voice platform, WellSaid’s Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology leverages proprietary AI models, which are trained on exclusive and licensed voice data to generate natural sounding voice overs. WellSaid is the first generative AI company to develop an approach that allows the end user to give precise instruction to the generative model, as well as direct access to a working model, enabling greater customization during the voiceover process and the ability to store all favored settings for a quicker, more dynamic experience. The company’s responsible AI platform is trusted by 50 percent of leading Fortune 500 brands, including LinkedIn, T-Mobile, ServiceNow, and Accenture, to optimize audio content creation for corporate training, product and customer education, marketing, advertising, publishing, business telephony, and more.

WellSaid’s Latest Features Include:
- Brand New Authentic, Human Voices: WellSaid has added 15 new voice styles to its extensive library of over 120 voices. Users have the ability to explore high-quality AI voices, customize their own, filter and search to identify preferred characteristics, and save favorite voices for future reference. All WellSaid voices are built using human vocal data from professionally trained voice actors that are paid royalties based on the use of their voice data on the WellSaid platform. As part of the voice actor agreement, WellSaid obtains permission to use the data its models are trained on, every time.
- Cues: New verbal cues now enable users to further customize their voiceover, with the ability to adjust loudness, pace, and pitch. Instead of using outdated Speech Synthesis Markup Language (SSML) tags that drastically degrade the quality of the voiceover, WellSaid enables users to give directions directly to the model for a more contextually accurate, emotive response every time.
- Respelling: In collaboration with Oxford Languages, the world’s most trusted dictionary publication and renowned leader in linguistic expertise, WellSaid has introduced phonetic respelling. This feature makes the WellSaid Studio even more intuitive and easy to use. The integration allows users to find and input the Oxford dictionary phonetic spelling (SPEH-lihng) of a word for improved pronunciation and a more precise outcome. Paired with the corresponding Replacements feature, the model will then automatically replace select words with phonetic respellings in every script with every voice.
- Upgraded Team Functionality: Upgraded team functionalities now enable enhanced collaboration across shared projects, allowing users to divide projects amongst members, and work on projects together in real time.
Team Libraries: Team members can access shared Team Libraries, including a Pronunciation Library where users can access preferred pronunciations.
Team Voices: With Team Voices, users can add preferred and previously used voices in one place to ensure easy accessibility for future projects.
Single Sign-On: Single Sign-On access is available to Enterprise Team subscribers.
- Robust Security Protection:
SOC2 Certified: Users can be assured their business-critical voiceover content is protected by industry standardized and audit verified controls.
GDPR Compliant: WellSaid and its practices fall within the scope of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), meeting the requirements for properly handling personal data as defined in the law. WellSaid prioritizes meeting set obligations, which limits how personal data can be used.
“Everything we build at WellSaid is intended to intuitively and effectively streamline the content workflow for creative professionals worldwide, and these new features are no exception,” said Brian Cook, CEO of WellSaid. “Looking ahead, we’ll continue to innovate and improve upon our model at large, with additional features, voices, and integrations to further deliver high-quality AI voiceover technology indistinguishable from real human voices.”
