BEE (BEE Content Design, Inc.), a leading digital content design platform, announced the appointment of global marketing expert Luca Penati to the position of chief communications and marketing officer (CMCO.) In this newly created role, Penati will report directly to BEE’s CEO Massimo Arrigoni.
As CMCO, Penati will lead marketing and communications worldwide, leveraging the success of BEE’s visual builders across many industries and more than 180 countries. Every month, BEE’s visual builders are used over 6 million times, empowering individuals and remote teams to easily create digital content across functions and industries, from marketing to HR and from higher education to healthcare. Millions of emails, landing pages, and popups are designed with BEE’s no-code tools, which are available as both BEE Pro, a design suite available to anyone, or as BEE Plugin, an embeddable solution currently adopted by more than 600 SaaS applications.

Penati brings more than three decades of marketing and comms experience to BEE. Most recently, he was the founder and chief advisor at Penati and Partners, a marketing and communications consultancy that worked with startups and nonprofit organizations. Previously, Penati served as Weber Shandwick’s Western Region president from 2014-2019, managing a staff of 200 people. Before Weber Shandwick, Penati was managing director of the global technology practice at Ogilvy, shaping, building, and protecting brands — from startups to the Fortune 500.
