TransPerfect Acquires Blu Digital Group to Expand Media Localization

TransPerfect, the world’s largest provider of language and AI-driven solutions for global businesses, has announced the acquisition of Blu Digital Group, a leader in digital media services, cloud-based workflow automation, and content distribution technology for the media and entertainment industry. As part of this strategic move, Blu Digital Group will operate under TransPerfect Media, a key player in post-production and localization services.

For nearly two decades, Blu Digital Group has been at the forefront of digital media innovation, offering cloud-based software solutions designed to streamline content processing, quality control, and distribution for major studios and streaming platforms. The company’s expertise in automation and digital media management has positioned it as a trusted partner for some of the biggest names in the entertainment sector.

As Blu Digital Group expanded into localization services, the demand for additional resources and a broader global reach became apparent. Partnering with TransPerfect—a company renowned for its AI-powered localization solutions—creates a powerful synergy that enhances media content management and delivery on a global scale.

Through this acquisition, TransPerfect clients will now benefit from Blu Digital Group’s proprietary SaaS products, including BluConductor™, BluQC™, and BluSpot™. These automation tools will integrate seamlessly with TransPerfect’s AI-driven language solutions and the GlobalLink performance platform. Blu Digital Group’s customers will also gain immediate access to GlobalLink Media, a robust solution for managing subtitling, dubbing, and multilingual media production.

Blu Digital Group will maintain its core operations and continue offering its cutting-edge services under the leadership of CEO Paulette Pantoja. Pantoja will also join the senior leadership team at TransPerfect Media, ensuring a smooth transition and strategic alignment moving forward.
