We’re excited to introduce automated bidding for the Brand Awareness & Reach objective, making it easier than ever for advertisers to maximize performance while minimizing the complexity of campaign management.
With this update, advertisers can now choose from two automated bidding strategies – Lowest cost and Cost cap – to optimize delivery, drive more impressions, and simplify how brand budgets are managed on Reddit.
Spend less time adjusting bids and more time driving impact, no matter the scale of your brand campaign.
Why It Matters
Until now, Brand Awareness campaigns on Reddit required manual CPM bidding, needing hands-on adjustments. With automated bidding, campaign management is now simpler and more efficient.

Meet the Bidding Strategies
Lowest Cost
Let Reddit automatically bid to get the most impressions for your budget—no bid entry required. Just set your budget and let the system do the work.
Cost Cap
Want more control? Set a maximum CPM cap, and Reddit will optimize delivery within that limit to help you hit your goals.
How to Get Started
You’ll find automated bidding options when creating or editing any campaign using the Brand Awareness & Reach objective. Simply navigate to your ad group’s delivery settings and:
- Enter your daily or lifetime budget
- Select your bidding strategy: Lowest cost or Cost cap
- (Optional) Enter a CPM cap if you choose Cost cap
That’s it. You’re ready to run smarter, more efficient brand campaigns on Reddit.
