Microsoft Takes User Feedback Seriously: Relaunches Its Learning Lab and Certification Program

Microsoft Advertising recently relaunched its Learning Lab and Certification Program after carefully listening to what users liked and disliked. There were many changes that needed to be made in their learning offerings. As per the feedback, users wanted fewer and scenario-based questions, more specialized certifications and digital badging.

Previously, the Microsoft Advertising Certified Professional (MACP) had only one exam. Now it has three exams plus these will be 50-question certification exams. These 50-question certification exams will further explore different areas of Microsoft Advertising namely the Microsoft Advertising Search Certification, Microsoft Advertising Native & Display Certification, Microsoft Advertising Shopping Certification. Now the users can also earn digital badges for passing exams.

The highest level digital badge is The Microsoft Advertising Certified Professional badge which can be acquired after passing in all three exams. These badges are a great source to uplift your career and boost your online profile as now it can be shared on social media.

Moreover, Microsoft Advertising has gone the extra mile for its users and also reimagined and redesigned its Learning Lab. The Learning Lab is no longer just a long list of courses but now it has everything in one place giving the users a modern and a more learner-focused website experience. The new Learning Lab is now more simpler and modern and there are a total of three new enhancements. The new enhancements are:

  • Learning Path – It brings together all the important things in one place required to develop skills as a digital marketer.
  • Events: Events allows users to watch live virtual events led by Microsoft Advertising experts or watch the recent events on-demand.
  • Your Dashboard and Trophy Case: Through Your Dashboard and Trophy Case users can see the badges they have earned and the courses they have taken up, all in one place.

All the new changes in the learning center and certification program are highly beneficial for those who run Microsoft Advertising campaigns. Users who have previously achieved certification in Microsoft Advertising will now have to update it to meet the revised criteria.
