Cineverse Launches Matchpoint Creative Labs to Power Generative AI-Driven Creative for CTV and FAST Advertising
Cineverse has announced the launch of Matchpoint(R) Creative Labs, a new in-house creative agency that has been established to address the growing need for high-class and motion-leading ad and promotional content in CTV, FAST channels, and streaming services through the integration of traditional creative services and generative AI to speed up the production and generation of on-air ad creative, branding materials, and channel promotional spots. Launching under Cineverse Technology Group is MCL, which is addressing the gap in the FAST space caused by operators who traditionally did not have the quality creative resources found in traditional broadcast networks.

Cineverse is looking to achieve this goal with a hybrid model, which features a combination of “human creative direction, scriptwriting, and design with AI-enabled tooling.” In this way, they aim to deliver creative CTV content on a large scale, both for its owned and operated properties like SCREAMBOX, RetroCrush, and Dove Channel, and for its partners, in a bid to improve engagement and presence for advertisers in the streaming space. It is worth noting that Cineverse also hopes to achieve more than $4.5 million in high-margin revenue in its first year with this new venture, while providing its customers in Matchpoint’s SaaS business with opportunities to leverage creative capabilities using advanced technology, without having to invest in developing these capabilities in-house.
