On 8th August 2024, Box, Inc., a leading provider of Intelligent Content Cloud solutions, announced the acquisition of Alphamoon’s AI-driven intelligent document processing (IDP) technology. This strategic acquisition, following Box’s recent purchase of Crooze—a prominent provider of no-code enterprise content management solutions—marks a significant expansion of the Box Intelligent Content Management (ICM) platform. The integration of Alphamoon’s technology enhances Box AI’s capabilities in automating document-related tasks and extracting critical metadata from essential business documents across diverse industries.

Post-integration, the Alphamoon technology will further augment the Box AI platform’s ability to revolutionize IDP through:

- Utilization of leading third-party AI models, including GPT-4 and Gemini, to innovate in metadata extraction and enable Box customers to seamlessly structure unstructured content.
