UserTesting, a popular enterprise customer insights platform, has launched UserTesting for Figma, a new integration that aims to bring actual customer feedback right into the design workflow. This new plugin enables design teams to design, launch, and analyze user experience tests all within Figma, which helps to ensure that customer feedback becomes an integral part of the design process, rather than a step that is introduced at the end of the design process. This new solution uses AI to automatically generate test plans from design prototypes.
With UserTesting for Figma, designers are able to transform their prototypes into live user tests in under a minute. By outlining the prototype and stating the objective of the task, teams can generate test scripts that include user instructions, tasks, and follow-up questions using AI. This approach removes the need for complex research setup while maintaining research quality. Once testing is complete, outcomes such as success metrics, behavioral patterns, and recorded video clips are delivered directly back into the Figma environment, allowing rapid iteration and design optimization.
“When the decision if a customer wants to engage is made in seconds, organizations need to shorten the distance between design and the customer by bringing high-fidelity customer signal directly into the space where it happens…the prototypes,” said Liz Miller, Principal Analyst and Vice President at Constellation Research. “Integrations that embed insights directly into workflows improve time to insight, drive decision-making efficiency, and deliver critical, tangible and actionable answers to how users will react. That rich detail and texture behind why should only be a question away.”

The new product adds a new capability set to modernize design validation. These are AI-powered test plan development, success path tracking through key user journeys, and an integrated dashboard in Figma that provides access to metrics, themes, confidence, and video highlights. There is also the ability to integrate qualitative feedback with quantitative data such as click data and task completion rates, while still allowing one-click access to advanced analysis through the full UserTesting platform.
The launch further expands UserTesting’s end-to-end customer insights strategy following its recent acquisition of User Interviews, which strengthened its participant recruitment and research capabilities. After a successful beta program that showed meaningful reductions in time to insight, UserTesting for Figma is expected to be generally available in Q2 2026.
“We’ve fundamentally changed the economics of customer insights,” said Jennifer Artabane, Vice President of Product at UserTesting, “When test design takes less than 60 seconds instead of 60 minutes, teams can validate ideas earlier, test more often, and ship with greater confidence, leading to higher-quality experiences and better business outcomes.”
In this way, the integration solves for a common problem in product development, which is to deliver designs that impact conversion and revenue without sufficient validation. UserTesting for Figma seeks to make customer-driven decision-making more scalable, faster, and easier for design and product teams.
