Figma Unveils AI-Powered Tools for Site Creation, App Prototyping, and Scalable Marketing Asset Generation
Figma, the collaborative design platform trusted by teams worldwide, has introduced a powerful suite of AI-driven features aimed at simplifying and accelerating digital creation. The new tools include Figma Sites, an AI-powered website builder; Figma Make, a prototype generator for web apps; and enhanced capabilities for bulk asset creation—marking a significant expansion of Figma’s offerings for designers, marketers, and developers.
With this launch, Figma enters the competitive landscape of creative tools dominated by platforms like Adobe, Canva, Wix, WordPress, and Replit, offering advanced functionality that unifies design, development, and content management.
Figma Sites: From Prototype to Published Website—No Handoff Needed
Traditionally, designers used Figma to create mockups and static site prototypes. Now, with Figma Sites, those same prototypes can be instantly transformed into fully responsive, live websites. Built with AI, this tool empowers teams to not only generate entire sites based on prompts but also make real-time edits using an intuitive editor—no coding required.
Users can add transitions, scroll effects, and animations, and ensure responsiveness across devices. A built-in content management system (CMS) is also in development, allowing for blog post creation, in-line editing, and asset management—streamlining workflows for marketing and content teams.

Figma Make: AI-Generated App Prototypes for Agile Collaboration
Complementing the website builder is Figma Make, a tool designed for rapid ideation and high-fidelity app prototyping. Users can input prompts to generate interactive web app prototypes and collaborate in real-time to refine the design. Developers on the team can further enhance the prototype by directly editing the underlying code.
Figma Make also supports the generation of small interactive components—such as clocks or dynamic widgets—that can later be embedded into published sites, adding depth and functionality to the design experience.
“We want to enable high-fidelity prototyping with Figma, especially with Figma Make. You can add more data to it and try to see how viable an idea is in terms of final implementation. Whereas Figma Site is useful for a marketing and design team when they exactly know how a site should look and take full control of that,” said Yuhki Yamashita, Chief Product Officer at Figma, in an interview with TechCrunch.
AI for Marketers: Scale Asset Creation Without Sacrificing Quality
Another highlight of Figma’s release is a feature tailored for marketing teams, enabling the bulk creation of visual assets through AI. This is ideal for campaigns that require multiple design variations—such as display ads, social graphics, or email visuals—without taxing design resources.
