DIRECTV Advertising Unveils Elect, AI CTV Political Platform

DIRECTV Advertising has introduced DIRECTV Elect, an AI-powered digital platform designed to help political advertisers effectively reach and engage Connected TV (CTV) audiences. Leveraging DIRECTV’s pioneering expertise in linear addressable advertising through D2 Media Sales, the new platform extends that capability to streaming, offering access to inventory across DIRECTV and national cable networks that reach over 130 million monthly active users. “AI is redefining how political campaigns discover and engage with voters, helping unlock deeper insights and more effective connections,” said Amy Leifer, Chief Advertising Sales Officer at DIRECTV Advertising, emphasizing how the platform merges the trust of television with digital precision and AI intelligence through DIRECTV Advantage, the company’s proprietary data suite.

Drew Groner, SVP and Head of Sales and Marketing for DIRECTV Advertising, noted that campaigns are increasingly using live sports programming to reach undecided and battleground-state voters, an area where DIRECTV Elect provides unmatched CTV access and actionable voter insights.
