Arc XP Partners with TollBit to Enable AI Bot Monitoring, Control, and Monetization for Publishers

Recently, Arc XP announced a strategic partnership with TollBit, which focuses on helping publishers benefit from visibility, control, and monetization potential from AI-driven traffic. The partnership enables a simplified process for media organizations to manage the way in which AI bots and agents are utilizing their content.

Publishers using Arc XP can activate TollBit directly from their dashboard and gain immediate access to a suite of tools designed for AI traffic management.

These capabilities include real-time monitoring of AI bot activity through advanced analytics, identification and classification of automated agents, and the ability to block or restrict access when necessary. Additionally, publishers can create agent-optimized environments and redirect bots to TollBit’s Bot Paywall, where access rules and pricing structures can be enforced.

This approach enables media organizations to not only control how AI agents interact with their content but also establish licensing frameworks that generate revenue from AI-driven usage. Participation in monetization programs remains flexible, allowing publishers to tailor strategies based on their business goals.

“The current friction between AI development and content creation isn’t just a technical hurdle; it is a fundamental challenge to how the internet operates,” said Toshit Panigrahi, CEO and co-founder of TollBit. “At TollBit, our goal has always been to create a structured, fair exchange for this new AI era. By joining forces with Arc XP, we’re making it effortless for publishers to set their own terms and monetize their content with ease.”

Building Infrastructure for the AI-Driven Web

While Arc XP provides the foundational platform for content delivery and policy control in the partnership, TollBit provides the authentication for agents, the licensing framework, and the monetization process. The partnership between the two platforms, in fact, provides a comprehensive solution to publishers to help them transition from passive players in the content market to active participants in the AI economy.

The partnership between Arc XP and TollBit, in fact, also points to the larger strategy and purpose of Arc XP in helping publishers transition and evolve in the changing digital landscape in which ownership and control of content are more important than ever.
