Acxiom welcomes new EMEA leader

Acxiom, part of Interpublic Group (IPG), has announced the appointment of Alex Pym as Chief Commercial Officer, EMEA. He will be responsible for driving the next stage of EMEA customer and business success for the customer intelligence company.

Pym joins Acxiom from fellow IPG agency Huge, where he spent almost eight years, most recently serving as Global Chief Growth Officer. Prior to that, he led strategic growth at SapientNitro (now Publicis Sapient) and, earlier, was in charge of client services and business development at Creativebrief.

“An intrinsic understanding of customers is the fundamental pillar to outstanding CX and can prove to be the number one differentiator for brands,” said Pym. “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to join Acxiom, a business at the forefront of unlocking and leveraging intelligence that informs great experience for customers and growth for brands.”
